When I first started going out on dates with girls I
tried so damn hard to be agreeable.
If a girl mentioned that she liked a certain band,
or a movie, or book... I would search my mind for
something positive to say about it.
And if I mentioned I liked a certain restaurant or
something, and it turned out she didn't like it... I
would immediately start back peddling and naming all
the things that were actually wrong with it.
I'm even ashamed to say... that I have bad mouthed
certain friends of mine... just to get on a girl's
good side.
I'd hardly ever tell her how I really felt. That
might make her think we were 'incompatible.' And I
couldn't have that. My goal was to get her think
"we are so a like... this guy is perfect."
And the sad part was...
It almost never worked.
As much as we shared similar interests, didn't
argue, had tons to talk about...
I just couldn't generate one ounce of attraction...
That's because as I later learned...
"Agreeability" is NOT an attraction switch.
In fact, a girl doesn't even have to like you to be
attracted to you.(That's a whole other email)
It is actually kind of odd and counter intuitive...
But the more you disagree with a woman and assert
your own opinion... the more attracted to you she
becomes.
For awhile I couldn't really figure out why this
was...
Then it hit me...
It plays into one of the five main attraction
switches (push/pull)...
Every time you disagree with a woman you are in a
sense 'pushing her away.'
Now obviously, if all you did was continually
disagree with a woman you would eventually push her
so far away she wouldn't come back...
...If we look at disagreeing as 'pushing her away' then
we have to look at agreeing with a woman as 'pulling
her towards you.'
My old strategy of blindly agreeing with a woman was
like continuing to pull a girl towards me until
finally she felt suffocated and ran for the hills...
As I discuss in detail in Amplify the Attraction the
more uncertainty, intrigue, and drama a woman feels
during an interaction... the more attraction she is
likely to feel.
Disagreement sparks uncertainty. Disagreement
sparks intrigue. And disagreement sparks drama.
A woman is used to a man who would sell his soul to
be liked by her.
So when you come along and aren't afraid to express
your opinion, disagree with her, or call her on her
bullshit, you're not only differentiating yourself
from all the other guys... but you are essentially
saying "I'm not afraid to lose you."
And human beings want things a whole lot more when
we're not sure we can have them...

some playful teasing. All in good fun, of course.

Raise your hand if you're guilty of sending
any of these . . .
1. The "Whipped Puppy" Text . . .
"I'm SORRY! I'm SO SORRY! I know
I messed up! I can change. Just give
me one more chance. I'll do anything! I can't
live without you!"
If you're like a lot of guys,
the first text you sent to your ex was
like this . . . begging to be taken
back, taking 100% of the responsibility
for the break up and trying to "pity" your
ex into coming back.
Which will never (ever) work.
Why it's "toxic:" Because begging
is insanely unattractive and because
even if the break up WAS your fault,
that's not a foundation to rebuild a relationship
on and because
even if she did take you back after getting
a text like this you'd be in "The doghouse"
for so long you wouldn't even have a relationship.
2. The "Jealous Lion" . . .
"You made me do it, you bitch! Who are
you with now? I hate you so much for
leaving me. You suck!!"
(This one is really common after
a couple drinks or if you've been
stewing in your juices alone in
your apartment.)
Why it's toxic: Most people (men and
women) don't love being attacked and
if you act jealous you'll drive
your ex further away.
3. The WHY???
"Just tell me what I did? Just tell
me WHY we can't be together anymore.
I just need an explanation. ANYTHING!
WHY WON'T YOU TALK TO ME??"
Why it's toxic: Because just like
the "Whipped Puppy" it takes ALL of
your power and attractiveness as a man away

I wanted to take a moment and introduce
myself.
My name's Jordan and like you, I struggled
for years trying to date the women I
REALLY wanted.
It seemed like they were always just out
of reach.
I wasn't rich, and I wasn't the best
looking guy in the world...
So I knew I needed some sort of 'edge'
to get a woman's attention and make me
see her me as the kind of guy she wanted
to be with.
Fortunately for me, it turns out being wealthy or
good-looking aren't nearly as important
as having the right sense of humor.
You see, humor gives you an almost magical
ability to attract and connect with
women you'd otherwise strike out with.
But just being funny isn't good enough.
In an effort to make a woman laugh, most
guys make several mistakes that
unwittingly KILL her feelings of
attraction for them.
Before we get into the most common
of of these mistakes, I want to remind you
to add me to your whitelist or your contacts
to make sure these messages don't go into your
spam folder.
That way you won't miss any of the
humor secrets I'll be sharing over the next
few weeks.

Ok, here are the ten most common mistakes
guys make with humor:

1. Being "entertaining" rather than
exciting
We've all heard that women are attracted
to funny guys, but most guys think this
means they should do ANYTHING for a
laugh.
Unfortunately, when you do this, you
make sure she sees you as her
"entertainer" - kind of like the court
jester or the fool...
The right kind of humor 'pushes a
woman's buttons' and excites her.
Have you ever heard a woman say she
wants to be "swept off her feet"?
That means she wants to be a little
off-balance... overwhelmed with emotion...
and a little out of control.
If you can use humor to make her feel
this way, You're on the right track.
2. Being Predictable
When most guys think they're being
original, they're doing the same things
every other guy thinks is original. If
you want to get a girl's attention, you
have to stand out by being different.
Surprise is the essence of humor. That's
why jokes are less funny the more you
hear them. Guys will either use the same
tired jokes everyone else uses... OR
they'll find one joke formula that works
and repeat it too often.
As soon as a girl figures out the
formula, it stops being funny and you
lose your edge.
You need to have a variety of humor
techniques to choose from. By mixing and
matching, you can create always keep a

something inside us says "play it safe",
"Don't offend her".
So we play it safe by either not making
any jokes at all, or only making "safe"
jokes.
But "safe" humor signals meekness - like
you don't want to risk offending her.
But by pushing the limits of what's
appropriate you demonstrate to a woman
that you're not as concerned with what
she thinks of you.
4. Being overly offensive
On the other hand, being crass and
offensive will alienate a lot of women
and just make them uncomfortable.
You need to know the difference between
being 'edgy' and being rude.
One, way is to slowly escalate the risk
level of the jokes you make when you
first meet a girl.
That'll give you a sense of where the
line is without stepping over it.
5. Coming across "try-hard"
If it looks like you're making a lot of
effort to come up with funny things to
say, it not only takes away from how
funny it is, but it makes you much less
attractive to women.
A sense of humor is only attractive when
it appears effortless.
This is all about delivery. Learn which
signals your body is giving off that
make it look like you're too 'invested'
in making people laugh and eliminate
them.
6. Coming across "pre-planned"
Having a few stock things to say in
common situations is great, but if a
woman senses you're just rehashing stock
material you use all the time, it'll
turn her off.
Besides, you can't memorize something
funny to say for every situation. Even
if you're funny at first, sooner or
later she'll catch on that your sense of
humor isn't "real" and is just a
collection of lines you learned
somewhere.
But if you understand how to OBSERVE the
humor in what's going on around you,
your jokes will always come across
relevant to what's happening and will
therefore seem spontaneous.
7. Winging it...
Though you don't want to just spout of
pre-memorized lines, that doesn't mean
you don't want to be prepared.
Have you ever seen a good Improv Comedy
show? The actors are responding 'in the
moment' to what's going on around them...
And they're able to do this because they
have a series of tools at their
disposal.
Although 'improv comedy' is usually the
'unattractive type of humor', the
principle still holds true: If you want
to be consistently funny you need to
know how to react to what's going on
around you in a funny way.
8. Not using humor at all
Most guys are so afraid to put
themselves out there that they become
overly serious around a girl they like.
This is the ultimate form of "playing it
safe".
You'd be surprised at how many guys
avoid trying to be funny altogether
because they're afraid of not getting a
laugh.
Using humor is the BEST ADVANTAGE you
can have for getting the girl you want.
And if you're not using it, you could
lose the girl you like to a guy who is.
9. Making too many jokes
Have you ever known someone who just
couldn't stop joking?
It's like their mind was constantly
searching for the next witty comment.
That used to be me.
And while I was able to get some laughs,
I was unwittingly signalling an
immaturity - like I wasn't able to take
myself seriously.
And when you can't take yourself
seriously, no one else will either.
I was hiding behind my sense of humor
and it cost me many opportunities with
women.
If you're serious all the time, you'll
be missing out on the most powerful
weapon of attraction there is.
But if you joke around too much you'll
look like a clown and will be issued a
one-way ticket to the friend zone.
You need to know when to joke and when
to be serious.
10. Not being open to getting help
We work hard at school to get a good
job. We practice sports or musical
instruments to continually improve. We
go to the gym to improve our health and
the way we look and feel.
But for some reason, there's almost a
taboo against getting help when it comes
to the area of our lives that has the
MOST impact on our happiness - our
ability to attract the opposite sex.
Attracting women is a set of skills.
Being funny is one of those skills.
And being funny in a way that turns
women on, is a skill that very few men
possess.
I used to think that getting the girls I
wanted 'should' come naturally - that it
shouldn't be something I'd have to work
on.
Without getting into why thinking in
terms of "should" and "shouldn't" is
like a disease of the mind, I'll just
say that once I let this 'should' go, I
opened myself to a whole world of
possibilities with women.
If you want a step-by-step system that:
- gives you a formula you can rely on to create humor in any situation
- makes sure your humor signals all the right things about you
- always comes across spontaneous and effortless
- 'pushes her buttons' without being offensive
- has a variety of techniques you can mix and match so you never become predictable

Holy crap... I just saw a video that's absolutely HILARIOUS.
Josh Pellicer just finished shooting a video
that you'll probably notice is a bit... "unconventional."
But that's a GOOD thing.
