Your Ex

Raise your hand if you're guilty of sending
any of these . . .
1. The "Whipped Puppy" Text . . .
"I'm SORRY! I'm SO SORRY! I know
I messed up! I can change. Just give
me one more chance. I'll do anything! I can't
live without you!"
If you're like a lot of guys,
the first text you sent to your ex was
like this . . . begging to be taken
back, taking 100% of the responsibility
for the break up and trying to "pity" your
ex into coming back.
Which will never (ever) work.
Why it's "toxic:" Because begging
is insanely unattractive and because
even if the break up WAS your fault,
that's not a foundation to rebuild a relationship
on and because
even if she did take you back after getting
a text like this you'd be in "The doghouse"
for so long you wouldn't even have a relationship.
2. The "Jealous Lion" . . .
"You made me do it, you bitch! Who are
you with now? I hate you so much for
leaving me. You suck!!"
(This one is really common after
a couple drinks or if you've been
stewing in your juices alone in
your apartment.)
Why it's toxic: Most people (men and
women) don't love being attacked and
if you act jealous you'll drive
your ex further away.
3. The WHY???
"Just tell me what I did? Just tell
me WHY we can't be together anymore.
I just need an explanation. ANYTHING!
WHY WON'T YOU TALK TO ME??"
Why it's toxic: Because just like
the "Whipped Puppy" it takes ALL of
your power and attractiveness as a man away
