Diet and Nutrition for Enlarged Prostate

What you do not know can destroy you

This is an article from Mayo clinic which states that the following means lower risk of enlarged prostate (benign prostate hyperplasia)

1.  Exercise and no belly fat;

2  Low fat diet;

3.  Servings of vegetable diet;

4.  2 glasses of alcohol.

NUTRIENTS:

Foods rich in Vitamin C  brocolli, brocolli sprouts, bell pepper, snow beans,  tomato and vegetable juice

Foods rich in zinc:   beef, seafoods, baked beans, lamb and duck.

Those who ate more protein had less risk of BPH;   however the clinic is careful in pointing out that these did not prevent onset of BPH  Read more on   Mayo Clinic and BPH risk factors
